Global warming and the world Concerns

Usually, my day starts with a hot coffee with a crisp morning but today it is not even in my mind, these days I’m waking up with a wet dress of my sweat even it is far from the beginning of summer.

Our climate is changing, and the temperature is rising as days gone. It looks like the problem is not new; it is old.

Global warming: It is a serious issue now we are facing. Lack of awareness is the biggest crisis here.
Every day, harmful materials are released into the environment as a result of human activities. This is pollution. The pollutant substances emit from the industry, transport, and energy use-enter the air which causes variations in climate and results in immense effects on ecological balance.

We have learned how to tame the environment with our unique mind and survive in harsh situations. Every time we solved our surviving issues we are altering the earth’s natural physiology of the entire surface.
Now our planet entered a new phase of existence. The tables have turned, Humans got the charge of the planet thus our planet is totally out of balance unless we can turn it back, it going to be extinct.

Global Warming

Gases naturally present in the atmosphere help to keep Earth warm by trapping heat from the sun that would otherwise radiate back out into space. The burning of fuel, such as oil in motor vehicles, and coal and wood in factories and homes, produces carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases which cause the rapid increase in global temperature termed as Global Warming.

GREENHOUSE EFFECT

The greenhouse effect is a process that occurs when gases in Earth’s atmosphere trap the sun’s heat. This process makes Earth much warmer than it would be without an atmosphere. The greenhouse effect is one of the things that makes Earth a comfortable place to live.

carbon dioxide (CO2), Methane (CH4), and Nitrous oxide (N2O) are greenhouse gases responsible for the greenhouse effect.

Our atmosphere is like a thin shell and when sunlight reaches our planet Earth, some parts of the energy will absorb by earth and its atmosphere, and it radiates the rest back to outer space.
Ever since the industrial revolution began, the emission of greenhouse gas increases.

Factories, power plants, burning of fossil fuels, and working of vehicles release an enormous amount of co2 and other greenhouse gases into the atmosphere and it creates the shell of the atmosphere above the earth to become thicker.
Then it traps the more heat near the earth’s atmosphere, and it increases in the average temperature of the earth. This naturally occurring process is known as global warming.

The global temperature is rising, Earths become hotter and hotter. 1998 is the warmest year measured in the history, 2005 coming the second.

Climate crisis is not local, it is a global issue. It is causing reduced growing seasons, changing the range of diseases, droughts, and mass extinction of species. The weather pattern is changing.

Climate change

The weather can change from moment to moment. Over a lengthy period, a region’s characteristic weather-however changeable-is called its climate.

The world’s climate has changed naturally throughout history. A long time ago Scientists have become concerned that human activities, such as the burning of fossil fuels, are producing greenhouse gases and it is causing global warming. The effects include ocean currents altering, ice sheets melting, sea levels increasing by 3mm a year, and more severe weather, such as cyclones and floods, becoming more common.

climate change

Our biodiversity is at the edge of destruction, Climate change destabilizes the Earth’s temperature equilibrium and has far-reaching effects on human beings and the environment.

Our politicians and world leaders have no time to invest in the future of next-generation, they are being busy with corruption and making revolts internally and externally in the nation.

Every country spending millions of money on defense and advancement in technologies for the development and security of the nation, at the same time their citizens are suffering from severe health risks through rising air temperatures and heatwaves. An increase in hunger and water crises, especially in developing countries, are become common.

While we are securing our life and nation, we are losing our mother Earth. Our planet is dying, we are literally doing nothing.
It’s the time we need to rethink.

Adverse Effect Of Climate Change

Ice caps melting
  • Increase the Global Temperature: it is the most immediate and obvious effect of global warming
  • Extreme Weather Events: Extreme hotness in summer and Extreme coldness in winter is an aftereffect of global warming.
  • Ocean Warming: Rising in the temperature results from a threat to oceanic species and its ecosystem. Slowly the species are dying from pollutions and climate change.
  • Glacier Melting: When temperatures rise and ice melts. Massive ice fields, monstrous glaciers, and sea ice are disappearing fast as it melts down. Which may cause a severe flood soon.
  • Sea Level Rise: The aftereffect of glacier melting is sea-level rise, which is one of those climate effects.
  • Droughts: Increasing Global Temperature causes severe inadequacy of water. In many regions, rivers and streams are disappearing everywhere.

A long way back our ancestors were set out their observations about the climate and other weather events. As science and technology developed it make us easy to forecast the weather changes and monitor changes in the earth’s atmosphere.

For over fifty years, climate scientists have warned that continued emission of greenhouse gases gasses into the atmosphere, particularly CO2, would cause climate change.

But We are all in a materialistic world; the situation is like we consume alcohol and use tobacco as we know it is injurious to health and no one stopped getting pleasure from it by believing in further consequences in life.

When this is compared to our environment, no one is thinking about the existence of the next generation while we exploit our resources and polluting our environment for our own needs.

WHAT CAN WE DO

  • Plant Trees :

Plantations of trees are important as they improve the quality of life and supporting wildlife. Trees are the natural purifier of nature, it balances the amount of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the atmosphere by consuming CO2 and releasing the O2.

Greta Thunberg
  •  Demand what you need :

Greta Thunberg, a teenage climate activist shows us what really we can do, She speaks up and demands social and political attention to the crisis global warming.

At age 15, she started working for a better future; she spends her school days outside to call for stronger action on climate change by holding up a sign reading  School strike for climate.

She gained international recognition for promoting the view that humanity is facing an existential crisis arising from climate change.

RECYCLE
  •  Recycle and use :

Recycling uses old waste to make new products. It cuts down the amount of rubbish and saves natural resources by reducing the need for fresh materials.

When e-waste is not properly recycled, it affects global warming

Use a shopping bag and refuse unnecessary carrier bags. Promote to buy recycled goods and reduce maximum use of poor quality plastic.

  • Select wisely your transportation:
Eco Friendly Vehicle

Vehicles are one of the biggest contributors to climate change. The polluted gases from vehicles especially carbon dioxide result in a speed up the rate of global temperature.  It so avoids maximum use of private vehicles and instead uses Bus like other shared services.

Encourage the practice of bicycle for the better health and better future.

When buying a new vehicle, choose an eco-friendly option.

  • Be a volunteer :
Voluenteering

Volunteer for a group that supports efforts to stop global warming.

Educating children is one of the most cost-effective, high-affected ways for every nation to fight rising temperatures, as a lack of awareness is a severe issue in our society.

Talk to friends and family about taking necessary action for climate change. Conduct social organizations and demand the attention of the Government.

  • Act now or never :

The best and effective plan for reducing the global temperature is not being a protestor or a volunteer of a group, It must start within him/her of every person, it just starts from our home. A single conscious step from us brings a big positive impact on our nature.
We can start by reducing the electronic equipment and reusing substances by preventing it from polluting our nature.

plantation

Plantation of trees and plants, educating our child about the importance of our ecosystem and our current issues are the best thing we can start with.
It’s our duty to provide a safer future for the next generation.

These are the basic things we have to do to bring environmental stability by reducing the global temperature.

We have a single mission: to protect and hand the planet to the next generation.
Francois Hollande
President of France

You did not create this problem, but we are all contributing to it. Now we are in the world’s charge. It’s our decisions and actions will determine the future of Next-generation.

Take your actions carefully, tempered by knowledge of science.

Are really we going to commit to change our actions or planet continues to suffer??

Comment your thoughts, with a determination of we are working together for a better future, for a better life in the world.
